Classes & Camps
For now all classes are 6 weeks long and are taught in person at Smile Camp: 6301 Hillsborough St., Raleigh NC 27606.
Civilization Class
$180 for 6 weeks in person
This is 10-week in person class, with each session lasting 1.5-2 hours.
In this civilization simulation, students take on roles like builders, farmers, or defenders, working in teams and as a class to plan, problem-solve, and manage shared resources in a world that tests their comradery and gaming skills!
Key experiences: survival-mode, collaboration, leadership, compromise, competition through PvP.
Build Your Story Class

This is 10-week in person class, with each session lasting 1.5-2 hours.
Defeat the Minotaur after navigating the labyrinth at Knossos, fight Medusa as Perseus, build city defenses at Troy then win battles as Achilles! Choose your God or Goddess and play their way with unique effects and abilities.
Key experiences: puzzles, PvP, boss battles vs. teacher, exploration, creative-mode building, elytra games.
Greek Myth Class
$180 for 6 weeks in person
This is 10-week in person class, with each session lasting 1.5-2 hours.
Work as a team to plan, build, and protect a shared Minecraft village. Students are responsible for their role and will compete, problem-solve, and learn what it takes to create a thriving community.
Key experiences: off-screen discussion of story building, partner work and discussion, redstone mechanics, commands, structure blocks, creative-mode building.
Norse Myth Class

This is 10-week in person class, with each session lasting 1.5-2 hours.
Under the giant boughs of Ygrassil, a portal to new worlds await you! Delve into the fantastical world of Elves, Dwarves, Trolls and Giants in this mythological landscape. Follow the footsteps of Thor, Loki and Freyja as they explore the Nine realms and conquer many foes.
Key experiences: treasure hunt, PvP games, boss battles vs. teacher, exploration, creative-mode building, Ragnarök (the end of the world).
